REDBACKS
MISSION
TO SIGN 100 WAGS
DNL RedBACKS is an
Islington-based women and girls (WAG) football team. We welcome players of ALL ages and ability. To play with DNL RedBACKS
please e-mail the team to receive details of its next session. You
do not have to be a team member to take part...feel free to drift on
through. DNL-RedBACKS
play and train in the London Borough of Islington and was created out of
the ashes of DYNAMO NORTH LONDON LFC (2001-2008).
The RedBACKS' aim, as a project, is to create as many
football-playing opportunities as possible for women and girls at grassroots
level - by any means possible. We believe it is the fundamental right of every
woman and girl (WAG) to play football. To this end we
will NEVER intentionally turn anyone away. We're also
very willing to entertain new ideas of how we can bring the
beautiful game to even more people. We play 5-a-side,
Park Futsal, 8-a-side Park Football, 11-a-side
and are involved in League & Cup football sides
too!
Between May 2009 and April 2010 we are endeavouring to
actively involve 100 women and girls, YES, 100 or more WAGS
in our football antics. We'll then roll our bandwagon
onwards...who knows where it will take us. Check the Red
spider box in the left sidebar to keep track of how we're
doing so far.
If you'd like to join our football mission please
download the Summer-Season Form 2009, complete
it and return with the appropriate. WAG football is the beautiful game and we'd welcome your
support in helping us drive this message forward. Many thanx and
Remember,
You're Better Off RED. |
