THERE IS SOMETHING
ATTRACTIVE about the RedBACK spider. It is small and
demure in appearance but it packs a deadly bite as a natural born
killer. This not-so distant cousin of the Black Widow is
resilient and can survive anywhere. The female of this species is
deadlier than the male. First spotted in Australia in 1870, rumour
has it that it is an import – it could have arrived from
anywhere, but you will know when you have encountered one.
Like the RedBACK spider our players come from all over the
world, but as a team we find our home in North London. We work as
a team, train as a team and play as team in everything we do
including having fun. You too will know when you have encountered
us.
At DNL RedBACKS we believe in the power of the resilient
female, the ability to survive, achieve and succeed. We believe in
working together and never giving up. ‘No’ does not sit well
in our vocab and we will survive. We put football first and
are safe in the knowledge that although men created football women
and girls makes it a beautiful game.

FIRST

FOOTBALL IS OUR FIRST LOVE, so
making your football experience a good one is our primary focus.
To that end, we’re committed to offering as many opportunities
to satisfy your football cravings.
We’re more than a team that trains, plays 5s, 8s, park football
and 11-a-side. We’ll get you to live football games, involve you
where possible in regional, national and international
tournaments, and make available as many opportunities to improve
your game and meet like-minded individuals (in competition and
socially).
All our coaches are FA qualified and come with experience
of women’s and girl’s football – we couldn’t
do it any other way. Coaches are all CRB certified,
so there’ll be no dodgy geezers working with us. We also pay our
coaches, physios and managers. This means not
only are we committed to getting the best value, we’re
determined to invest in the progression of the beautiful game.
We strive for excellence in everything and look to encourage the
best in you. Whether you’re recreational player or just passing
through en-route to the top there’s no better place than DNL-RedBACKS
to get your football groove on. We’re proud to be able to offer
a great football experience to all regardless of your
perceived standard. We can’t promise to make you better, but
we’ll try our hardest.
We are also committed to achieving FA Chartered Standard
status – something we should have achieved by season-end
(2009/10).
And to top things off, we’re also keen on our image, so whether
you’re starting out in the game or a veteran, we’ll make you
look good and pretend every occasion is just like Match of the
Day.
